I’m updating my review now that we’ve had the work done. The work alpha did needs to be completely re done. We paid 25k in total but the main issue was for the joists to be sistered in an area that would be renovated. Fast forward and we are renovating. Our contractor ripped up the subfloor and the sistered joists done by alpha literally fell off. The beams that alpha used were too short, attached to nothing, nails were not long enough to hold the beams. Just total shotty work. We are currently trying to get reimbursed a portion of the work because of contractor has to re do everything. Be cautious, they do not explain anything and wish we would’ve asked more questions. Terrible work by this company I feel completely bamboozled. I’m updating my review. All of the above did happen, once we started calling alpha and explained the situation, they were out to our house within an hour to examine the work. They determined it was poorly executed and wanted to fix it immediately. Alpha acted incredibly quickly and had an experienced crew out to our house the very next morning and completed the work by end of day. We are thankful that they owned the mistake and wanted to make it right asap. Frustrating that the work was not done accurately the first time but they absolutely made it right and deserve 4 stars for the swift resolution.
