Providing Hope and a Local Call to Others

Over 18 years ago, Alpha Foundations began a journey of helping our neighbors, homeowners, and community in the repair of their most valuable asset, their home. We have been incredibly fortunate to have built a thriving business right here in the heart of Tallahassee, FL. Naturally, we wanted to take on an opportunity to help the community that has been so giving and loyal all these years.

Last week, Alpha Foundations partnered with Second Harvest of the Big Bend to help others in our community who are suffering. With a donation of $10,000, Second Harvest of the Big Bend was able to distribute 40,000 meals to children and families in need. During our country’s ongoing fight against COVID-19, we are seeing more clearly than ever before that every dollar counts and it is now that we need to act upon helping our neighbors.

Second Harvest of the Big Bend’s service area includes four of the most food-insecure counties in Florida with Leon County being the third most food-insecure county in the state of Florida before COVID-19 hit.
